I recently stayed at Alexander Lounge and was quite disappointed. The building is very old, and the room had a strong, unpleasant musty smell. My room was facing the highway, so it was extremely noisy throughout the night with cars passing one after another. On top of that, the soundproofing was terrible – I could clearly hear every step from the room above me. Overall, it was not a comfortable stay.

Trout feeding pond is amazing. Adorable trail and waterfall. Very close to Mt. Ranier. Staff is amazing. Such a peaceful atmosphere.

There was a very unpleasant smell inside Alexander’s Lodge. It seemed like mold, cats, or sewage , I am not sure exactly, but the odor in the room and throughout the property was very strong and unpleasant.

The hotel is over 100yrs old. I loved the idea of the history of the Inn. We were on the third floor( with no lift but we knew that coming in) with a nice view of the fish pond in the back yard. This made a nice hub while visiting the park. They had wifi, cable tv and dvd player with several dvds to view in the parlor area. I really enjoyed sitting by the pond at night and watching the fish. This is not a chain hotel and I was ok with that. We had a great time and would stay here again if we ever find ourselves back in WA.

it was easy to find right off the highway. The check-in was excellent and the staff, Jim, was very friendly and helpful. There’s a good restaurant just a few steps away. The Wildberry was excellent food. The grounds of the lodge are beautiful. The room is beautifully decorated and comfortable. It is a treat to be here.

Close proximity to Paradise area in Mt Ranier Natl Park. Quiet, safe neighborhood. 2 restaurants nearby. It’s an older property so expect everything inside to be old, too, which is fine it gives it its own charm, cottage feel.

We loved the inn's prime location, just steps away from the park entrance. Our stay in the Wonderland Suite was particularly enjoyable, as it offered exceptional privacy and the unique charm of having a private forest picnic area. It's worth noting that the inn has a very rustic feel, so be prepared for bugs and insects. While this didn't bother us, it's something future guests should be aware of.
