Hidden Gem!

We stopped here because we were tired of driving. We got a huge king room woth a lake view and patio. Breakfast is decent, pool, got tub and property are amazing! We'll definitely be back!

The hotel was quiet, clean and staff were very friendly. We brought our dog and she loved to walk along the little beach. Breakfast was good with many options to chose from. I do have to say, if you bring your pets, please clean up their waste and don't just leave it and expect the staff to clean up after your dogs. It is your responsibility to pick up after your animals and not the staff's responsibility. If you are too lazy to clean up after your dog, don't bring them.

I stayed here when I had a meeting in town. The staff was great and very accomodating and friendly. I needed to extend my stay due to weather, and they were great to work with. I will stay here again when in the area.

If you’ve stayed at AmericInns before, this one is pretty much like the others. Beautiful view of LakeSuperior and the shoreline is right out the door! There’s also a small water park attached but they are in the process of taking out the slides and it was only open on weekends. The property is located on the edge of town, but dining is just a short drive away. Check out BlackCat coffee and Ashland BakingCompany for goodies in town!

There was no hot water that I could see at the breakfast room for tea, I had to use machine back in my room to get it. There were ants crawling on the tile in bathroom in our room. Also ants crawling by a piece of food dropped in pool area. Game room area clean & kids had fun in there. All of the front desk people were very helpful & friendly for the 1 night stay.
