An amazing anniversary

What a beautiful facility right on Lake Superior. From the front desk guys who were so accommodating to our requests to the check out gal who took our picture, it was a trip we won’t soon forget. When you walk into the lobby, the stunning decor of the facility brings you back to the golden age. The outdoor patio was quite comfortable and the view was amazing. Great place to kick back and watch God’s beauty. The rooms were spacious, very comfortable and have the tallest ceilings I have ever seen. The complimentary breakfast was the best I have ever enjoyed in a hotel setting. All in all, it was a very memorable anniversary getaway and one I will long remember. Thank you Best Western.

It is a great hotel with amazing views of the bay from your window. Balcony and outside seating to enjoy the boats and to enjoy a meal or drinks. The best breakfast above and beyond other hotels.

The bathtub water was leaking. There were few outlets to plug in electronics for two people. Most hotels have charging station. No ice machine on the floor. The beds were comfortable. We had to get shampoo and conditioner at the desk and no makeup wipes

The restaurant in lower level of the hotel is fabulous! The chef cooked my salmon perfectly. Beautiful views of the bay. Walkable to the marina. The hotel itself is absolutely beautifully and unique!

Beautiful historic building in a beautiful setting on the south shore of Lake Superior. Walking trail along the shoreline runs right behind the hotel. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. What more can you ask?

The lobby was very cool it’s decorated like a late 1800’s hotel. The restaurant on the lower level had very good food and you can sit on the deck and look out over the water. The down side is the rooms were dated. They need to remodel, add outlets and especially new mattresses.
