Think it was my last stay here
Our first room the aircon wasn’t really working but then to top it off someone kept slamming doors now if it was room doors or the exit door which was a slow closer might not have helped but then they did change our room to a different floor but that one the aircon sounded like the room was getting ready for take off. The pillows weren’t very comfortable. I think the standards have really fallen at this hotel. Our first room one of the lights were hanging off and the lights kept flickering.

Clean. Easy check in. Free parking. Cimfortable double room but the noise of traffic was so loud throughout the night (in end room beside motorway(, thought windiw must be open but checked several times and definitely wasnt. Other than that, pleasant stay.

Breakfast was so disappointing. We had over an hour left for breakfast so to arrive at the buffet breakfast to find lots of missing items. Dirty unkept buffet. No cutlery and staff unhelpful. Disappointing.

Disappointing
This was an overnight stay as no room at the inn (laws) Christmas night. Upgraded for a late checkout and breakfast with gym access to burn of a few of the excess calories. The TV in the room didn’t work. The supposed complimentary toiletries was an opened bottle of conditioner and some manky looking standard bolted to the wall hotel soaps I personally never trust…. The gym was good and well equipped but minging! Probably more to do with the customers than the hotel but the teenagers running the place carry no authority and let everyone do as they like. The pool was a good size for a hotel but again, minging. Couldn’t see your hands and poor lane control ment slow people in the fast lane nearly getting swam over with isn’t fun for anyone. Ok for a work trip, and would be good value if the standards were maintained.

Our extractor fan in our bathroom was out of order, as was our heated towel rack. We stayed for three nights and on the morning of our departure, the whole hotel had no hot water. I had to wash my hair in the basin in ice cold water. I know accidents of an unforeseen nature happens and would not have given the hotel a low rating because of this, if the reception staff were better at communicating the situation to guests. The receptionist we asked about the cold water situation was clueless and dim witted.
