Awful stay, the place reeked of cigarettes, the shower did not work, the room was not as advertised, and we woke up with bites all over (assuming bed bugs). We immediately felt ill when walking in and ended up leaving once waking up the first night. The staff was super unfriendly as when we checked in with 4 bags they just gave us our key card and we had to carry our bags one stairs. This was honestly the worst stay I have ever experienced.

Old building , very pretty . Good location . Excellent breakfast

The hotel is in a great location, right across the canal from the Guglie stop of the Alilaguna public water taxi. Just a short walk over the footbridge. We were an easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, and about a 20 minute walk to Saint Mark Square. The staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. My only observation is that they weren’t that helpful recommending restaurants. Otherwise our stay was delightful. The breakfast, which was included, was top-notch. The hotel itself is grand and well worth it. I would definitely stay again.

Wonderful hotel and location.

If u drive to Venice, parking your car outside Venice is a nightmare. Contact hotel staff before arrival for direction on how best to park car and get to the hotel. Will save you a lot of headaches.
