Such a lovely and welcoming lodge. We loved the view and close proximity of the mountains. You can walk to everything in Aspen. Great place to stay!!

Way over priced for what we received. This was my first time staying in Aspen, so maybe it's like this everywhere there, but I was very disappointed in the room and the hotel for what we paid. We booked a 2 room "condo", however the layout was beyond bizarre. There were only 2 rooms, no common room. The bathroom could barely be called a water closet, it was so small I couldn't sit properly on the toilet. As a matter of fact, after the first time, I refused to take a number 2 in that bathroom. It was that small and uncomfortable. The beds were cheap and uncomfortable to sleep on, 2 worse nights of sleep I've had in a hotel. Plus, we couldn't control the HVAC in our unit, I'm guessing it was being controlled by another unit. One room was too cold, and the other too hot. There was a small fridge and microwave in the closet on one of the bedrooms. There were signs posted everywhere to be "Bear Aware", yet forced to park blocks away as there is nowhere near enough parking on the property. Lastly, the free breakfast was uninspiring. Mostly of store bought prepackaged muffins, cold cereals, and unripe fruit. For $400 plus per night, I expected better. Not to be all negative, the staff are really nice. It's in a good location, easy walking to the main shopping and food area.

front desk lady (leslie?) was very kind and hooked us up with an updated room, when i accidentally got a communal bathroom instead of a kitchenette (& there wasn’t an opening for one). there was a cancellation & she helped set us up immediately. super sweet & knowledgeable of the area. give her a raise (& some totchos!!!)

Nice hotel in good location

Lovey place, room is average and dated by the shared bathrooms are nice and the extras are good - a pool and in the afternoon they had lemonade and cookies out. Lovely touch.

Clarisa and Tom were both just outstanding in their service, as well as friendly and kind. Clarisa sent me my headphones that I didn't see laying on the room floor and how fun it was to find out Tom grew up in my neck of the woods. Sincere thanks goes to the housekeeper who found my headphones. Enjoyed the heated pool and the grassy patio with chairs.

These were the perfect accommodations for us! The rooms are old but well kept and clean. We were a little worried when we found the room didn’t have air conditioning but it was actually fine when we stayed (early July 2025). Walkable from downtown to restaurants and shops. The staff was incredibly friendly and offered us happy hour wine when we arrived. He also gave us a map and showed us all his favourite places to eat! We didn’t get a chance to check out the pool or the breakfast.
