Lovely location and the staff were also very friendly and positive. The three biggest drawbacks were that the pool was quite dirty, with a large number of bugs on the bottom, and the setup around the pool was scaled down from the pictures on the site, the breakfast was quite limited (fresh croissants on one of 3 days) and the wifi wouldn't work in our room, we had to go outside to use it. The location was close to perfect if you have a car. Easy drive to Assisi and good day trips in the surrounding area (Spello, etc.).

Fantastic place to stay if you don’t mind being outside the city center. Angela the owner is a fantastic host. She happily called for dinner reservations on our velar, and even arranged for parking to minimize walking for my elderly father. This is a huge deal inside the city walls. Grazie! The rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great as well. Excellent value for the price. Highly recommended.

Great,small hotel, very convenient especially if you’re driving, easy parking on property.( 10 minutes drive to Assisi parking) Very comfortable bed and shower. It’s in a quiet area with beautiful views of Assisi. The owner was helpful and attentive.

It doesn’t get better than Giotto Country House!
Perfect Location. Excellent room and very clean. Breakfast includes your personal egg dish order. The owner is personable and professional. The pool is an newer to your prayers on a hot Italian day. We will stay again and we will entice our friends to stay with our Assisi stories.

Well... our brief stay in Assisi was intended to be a layover night in travels between Florence and Sorento and must admit, our one night stay in the Giotto Country House made Assisi the top city that my wife and I hope to return to for an extended stay. Nestled at the bottom of the mountain overlooking the Assisi village, Giotto will be your Italian country getaway. If you are an outdoor person who loves nature and likes a break from the hustle and bustle of the city, stay at Giotto. We have agreed already that our next stay in Italy will be at the Giotto for an extended time. It is no layover city. It is the quintessential Italian countryside with easy access to shopping, history, good food, hiking, and the open arms of the Giotto staff that welcomed us from the start as if we were family returning home for the weekend. An absolute gem!

Incredibly charming place I was lucky to call home for a short visit. Gorgeous villa style small boutique property with amazingly hospitable owners. Set just outside the center of wonderful Assisi. Very easy drive just a few minutes away from center. New rooms hat are very nicely sized and comfortable. Old style exterior with modern new chic interior. I Highly recommend staying here and already plan to stay here again when I return.

il giorno stesso di arrivo mi chiamano per dirmi che la struttura era chiusa e che mi spostavano nell'altro hotel, arrivo e mi assegnano una stanza che se dico orrenda è un complimento, che puntualmente sono andato a controllare e costava circa 50,00 euro di meno di quella prenotata, mi incazzo e mi spostano in un'altra stanza carina ma circa 14mq mentre io avevo prenotato una struttura per la sua grandezza.Se siete italiani vi sconsiglio vivamente questo albergo si vede a distanza di un km che gli interessa solo il turismo straniero.Voto 0

Una tranquilla location tra Assisi e Santa Maria degli Angeli. La piscina è un luogo di vero relax dopo una giornata di visite culturali e spirituali oppure per restare in giorno interno a godere il silenzio delle colline umbre. La colazione è abbondante e completa. Le camere hanno tutto il necessario per trascorrere una bella vacanza (climatizzatore, tv, frigo, cassaforte, set bagno, ecc)
