Fantastic Hotel
Wonderful quiet, clean family run hotel. After being stranded by the train strike we walked across and found this wonderful hotel. When we return we would no hesitate to stay here and travel on day tripa through Umbria.

It is a very, very nice hotel. The location is excellent because it is across the street from the train and bus stations. It is lovely and quiet on the inside, parking is easy and driving to supermarkets or laundromat is easy. Bus to Assisi is very convenient. Food is good.

This is the ideal choice for someone who wants to visit Assisi for a day. It is close to the train station so you can drop off your bags when you arrive and then continue with your visit. I would emphasize that it truly is a "Modern Hotel" and the staff were very nice and accommodating.

Good location and clean
This hotel is run by a family of three generations. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean. Our room is very quiet. The railway station is right across the road. There is a bus stop in front of the railway station. The bus goes to the uphill Assisi Old Town. There are two bus services per hour. The last bus runs at about 11:00pm. There are also other buses going to other towns/cities from the bus stops in front of the railway station. I checked in at about noon. I then took a bus to the terminal stop in the old town and started to walk downhill to visit various attractions. I returned late in the evening and left Assisi by train in the next morning. So the location of the hotel is very convenient to me. Highly recommended.

Very nice, refurbished hotel across from the train station. Too bad we had to leave a day early because of an Italian train strike. The owner wasn't thrilled and was hoping to get an Expedia commission refund for that night. The only hotel issue was a rather bare-bones continental breakfast.

Great location. Across street from train station. Owners of hotel, Carlo, his wife and son, made us feel very welcome and they were super accommodating. We had to catch a 6a train upon leaving and Carlo the owner had coffee and warm croissants waiting for us at our departure even after I told him not to bother the night before.

Good location and peaceful.
Everything are very good and perfect. The owner are so nice and a lot of help. It is almost are 4 stars hotel. Clean and comfortable. The hotel just in front of the train & bus station, very convenience to eat and shopping, very peaceful. We have take a photo with the owner and write down our feeling and happiness on the broad at the reception area. It was a good stay again.

Quiet Hotel - Great Staff!
Lovely experience! Across the street from train station, but very quiet street. Easy bus ride up to the Old City and back. The staff was EXCEPTIONAL! Room and beds cleaned daily. We loved our stay here! It was our favorite hotel of all the places we stayed in Italy.

Hotel location is very accessible
Easy to find right in front of the train station. Near the bus stop. Very convenient. Our room is overlooking the Basilica of Santa Maria de Angelis. Very nice, friendly staff. We will stay in this hotel again if given the chance to visit the place again

Convenient and clean.
Family run hotel, very warm, friendly, kind and helpful people. Shower was good, room was spacious and clean, breakfast was simple - croissants, bread rolls, biscuits, butter, jam, coffee, tea, hot chocolate was very good. Walking distance across to the train station and the bus stop. Would definitely stay here again.

Short transit stop
A short stop to break up travel time and see Assisi (although you could easily travel to Perugia as well). Hotel is conveniently opposite station and bus stop to town centres. Staff were friendly and room was clean with wifi working well. Breakfast is simple with coffee and coissant but helps as eat street is 5-10 mins walk away.

Nice hotel, close to station
Good continental breakfast, family very friendly, towels changed every day, spotlessly clean. Train to Rome, Perugia, Lake Trasimeno, Spello, Florence two minutes away, bus to old town of Assisi across the road and five minute walk to basilica with Porziuncula. A pleasure to stay in this hotel and it is an excellent base from which to explore this part of Umbria.

Perfect for a One Day Visit to Assisi
The best part about this hotel is that it is right across the street from the train station. We travelled to Assisi early in the morning and were able to check in right away (10:00). Having got rid of our bags we were able to jump on the bus (it stops right at the train station) and head up to the hill to Assisi. If you are spending more time in the area you'd probably want to stay in Assisi but we wanted to catch the 7:03 inter-city to Rome the next morning. The breakfast starts at the hotel at 7:30 so we thought we would miss it. When they saw us leaving they insisted very nicely on giving us a capucino and croissant and it was pretty good. Our expectations were exceeded as the room was nice clean and quiet. You do have to pay for the wi-fi so we just went without (another reason to perhaps to stay somewhere else if planning a longer stay. Bottom line is that the hotel was a good value and super convenient for an early morning train.
