This was our second time at the Bowline. The staff was incredibly friendly. You can't beat the location over the water. We had our two year old with us and he absolutely loved the sea lion viewing area on the boardwalk between the two hotel buildings.
Great food at the restaurant, great spot to just chill and read a book and look out over the water and WA.
Hope to make it back again next year!
What a little gem!!! Nothing short of ORIGINAL … share your stay with the resident sea lions. Beautiful, funky, incredibly stylish. Literally everything has been thought of. Don’t miss the chance of staying here. Great food, lovely staff and the cutest sea lions!!!
Nicely appointed property, friendly atmosphere but leaving here totally unrested after traveling for 7 days in Oregon. Have to find a place to park on the street. The foldout bed for the couch was a thin, uncomfortable POS, certainly needs to be trashed. Enjoyed the sea lions but they bark incessantly all night while listening to people walking around upstairs. Whew, we're tired, moving on.
The Bowline was our second stop of three. The property was nice, beautiful views comfortable sitting in The Knot, which is the bar/restaurant area with amazing views. Loved the room, not a fan of Astoria. We did venture down the road to a delicious dinner with fresh pasta. Probably the best meal on our week long trip.
The $50 pet fee unexpected and excessive. It was not noted on hotels. Com . The hotel rooms have concrete floors so it should not require much if any additional services for a small dog.
Division walls appear to havel much soundproofing.
The river front rooms give you the feeling of a stateroom on a cruise ship without seasickness. Great views and highly recommended them.
Sea lion's are a little loud however very entertaining.
Exterior patios could use a little more maintenance.
