All the booking platforms show a basic room as only having one futon. Our basic room had three futons, three pillows, three sheets and three doonas. This is a basic clean hotel good for one night. The walk from the hotel is solid down hill and then a pretty tough up hill to get back to the station. Elderly wouldn’t manage it. Walk down town has a shorter down hill but is still not easy. Breakfast was predominately Japanese. Very little english. Great english instructions for the air conditioning.

The dinner was 3400 yen person but portion is small. Breakfast was good.
The only thing that was nice about this place was the view and the on-site onsen, the floor in the room was coming up and caving in, the roof and electrical stuff were stained yellow from smoking, the futons were dirty and uncomfortable, the wallpaper was peeling off the walls, the shower faucet was leaking and sprayed water everywhere, there was two GIANT spiders in our room, the elevator was janky and shaky, would never stay here again and would never recommend it, out of all the times and places I’ve been in Japan this was by far the worst.
Run down, dingy and old. It’s more like an inn. Baths are rusty and dirty. You get what you pay for, no other choice for better last minute saturday accommodation in the area.

The view from the Onsen on the roof was excellent! The breakfast was great.
The toilet was dirty, and the shower area smelled fishy. The room needed at least one chair.

Good price for all amenities.
Amazing & clean hot springs baths, nice kitchen appliances & utensils, too bad no washer in room. Walk uphill to Atami Station is hard if has heavy luggage, might need taxi if elderly travelers, unless u are in good physical condition.
Was sooo hard to find to begin with, lots of stairs, but no one will help you at the entrance with your luggage. The room is very small, we had the traditional room for 3 people, won’t be able to open the wardrobe after we put our sleeping mats down. Toilet no fan, no windows, so imagine the smell after someone... breakfast starts at 7am, finishes at 7:45am, check out at 10 am, very inconvenient .
apartment type room.
very comfortable, little dated.
used personal onsen room. it was great.
Hilly location. I took a wrong turn so had to go up the road with my suitcase😨😨
Hotel was advertised to have self parking, however there is not enough stalls for all occupants. When we arrived, we asked to self park and the front desk told us that no parking was available and we could park at the beach parking. Beach parking was an additional 2700 yen/day and about a 15 min walk away.
Hotel also serves breakfast, but it requires a reservation the night before. We did not know this when we checked in. We headed down to breakfast at 8am and asked to pay the 500 yen/person for breakfast, but the front desk told us that since we had not made a reservation the night before, we could not have breakfast.
Our room did have a mosquitos in it. We also saw another occupant return some borrowed bug repellent to the front desk while leaving.
The location is not bad. It's about a 15 min walk to the beach. They do have private and public onsets at this hotel if you're looking for that. For the price and if you cannot get parking, you may want to look elsewhere.
Amazing hot springs really make the stay worthwhile

Dated and expensive
Room was clean but dated. We went during a high demand time so the room was very expensive. I don’t recommend paying more than a a hundred and fifty dollars per night at this hotel.
The staff, however, were very nice and the breakfast in the morning was nothing special except for the grill yourself fish; that was quite tasty.
I would book again but only if it were much cheaper.
