This hotel was perfect for us. The reception was wonderful with lemonade and cookies out and we were even able to check in early. The room was stocked with good shampoo, conditioner, body lotion. Interior area was pleasant to have a cocktail at, the rooftop was not open the night of our stay, despite it being pretty nice out. The breakfast buffet was superb. We had croissants, fruit, eggs, cheeses, good coffee. Very walkable to the metro, acropolis and many good restaurants.

Breakfast on the rooftop was very nice, however all the cheese and meats are in the direct sun. The staff and reception area was very good and nice to sit and relax after being out in the heat. The carpet was very dated and damaged in the room

We booked a junior suite but it didn’t looked like in the pictures at all. It was more like a triple or family room that was outdated. Carpet was dirty and the bathroom has a smell with the faucet broken. Our flight got super delayed that we didn’t check in till early morning so we didn’t have any options since we are only staying there for a night. Breakfast has a good selection but the acropolis view is obstructed by the glass and buildings. Quite overpriced for the room quality.

Positives about the hotel was the courtyard, awesome rooftop bar, lobby & excellent customer service. Staff were exceptionally helpful. Negative is that the hotel is located in the ‘grimey’ part of Athens. Did not feel safe in the area despite it being a few minutes walk from the tourist section of Monastiraki . Lead in rooms are super tiny & carpet was very dirty.

The room was dated and very small with the queen bed pushed into the space against the wall on 3 sides, making it necessary for one person to climb over and wake the other to get to the toilet during the night. The toilet seat was broken. The basin or vanity was in the bedroom and the carpet was old and stained. The breakfast which was from 8 until 11.00am consisted of many empty serving plates by 9.15am and several people had to ask the staff if there was anything else coming resulting in the staff ringing the kitchen and replenishing some of the buffet 15 minutes later. There was no greeting or welcoming smile at the buffet. The reception staff on the other hand were very friendly and helpful.

For what we paid, it should have been fantastic. But the staff (checkin and at breakfast) act like they couldn’t be bothered to provide any service. At breakfast, the staff played on their phones while the buffet sat diminished and pathetic. While it’s walkable to some impressive sites (eg Parthenon), the immediate area is sad. We looked out over a concrete carpark covered in graffiti. While the stay was okay, there would be plenty of other great places no doubt for less money.

We really liked this hotel. We were there one night. It was close to many great restaurants. There was a rooftop bar with a great view of the Acropolis. The staff was friendly and helpful. I had mentioned that my son and daughter in law would be there the day we checked out and were on their honeymoon. They said they were glad I told them and would make their stay special. They had roses and champagne waiting for them when they arrived!! So sweet! The rooms were a good size and clean. It’s close to many attractions too. I would recommend this hotel for sure!

We got off a cruise in the morning and the hotel let us keep our luggage there so we could go and explore. The attendants were nice and friendly. Our room however was not so nice, it was so small, maybe 10ft by 15 ft(that's including the bathroom)The one side of the bed was up against the wall which was very inconvenient, one person would have to climb in and out of bed. After seeing how small it was, I immediately noticed the pink carpet and how it was soooooo dirty. I was not going to walk barefoot on that carpet, it was disgusting and filthy. There weren't any pictures on the walls, a very small depressing room. We ended up finding a new place to stay.

A Jen hidden away but great

We had an amazing time in Athens, staying at the Apollo Palm hotel. We came in really late on our first day at 3:30 AM due to a Taxi strike. We were absolutely exhausted, but they welcomed us and got us into our hotel room and we’re quite empathetic to our situation. I must say that the breakfast is probably one of the best I’ve ever had in any hotel that I’ve stayed in. it’s located in a very central location just below the Acropolis. The view of the acropolis at night time from the upper lounge deck is amazing. The only thing I wish it had would have been a swimming pool but we knew this before we booked. It was very warm when we were in Athens and we had Been hiking all day. It would have been nice to cool down in a pool. The location to all the nightlife was only minutes away although from our hotel, you could never hear any noises from there. I would definitely come back again and recommend others to do so.

I a not one to write reviews, especially something negative however, we were really disappointed. While the hotel grounds are gorgeous, we were a bit disappointed with the state of the room we were placed in. The room did not look like it had been cleaned as there was a stain on our comforter, an uncomfortable amount of dirt/ questionable black spots on our rug and a dirty shower. When we called to voice concern it was completely brushed off as the response was “it was cleaned”. No one offered to re-clean the room or place us in other room. If you are planning to be out and about in Athens all day this hotel is convenient in location. Walkable to everything in the city.

We walked yo a dirty and scary neighborhood then walked into smelly and dirty room. It was not ventilated well so we did not sleep in the bedroom and slept on the couches. We found used q-tops in the room and we were told to clean it ourselves. The place was abhorent and we left after one night stay

We were to have a junior suite at the Apollo Palm. However, we were notified while on our way there, via public transport from the airport, that they changed us to their sister property, Vasi. While the location of the Vasi was in our opinion better actually, the room was not. Small room, no frills at all, limited towels, and breakfast was lacking and we believe was the same products put out every day, nothing fresh. While they did give us free use of the mini bar, there was nothing much in it, and never replenished. They also provided us with a drink at the property we were booked for (where we wanted to be) at their rooftop bar. That has spectacular views. No restaurant or bar at the Vasi. We would book another alternative if we were to return. All that said, they have an employee at the desk whom was spectacular, Nikolas. He was wonderful, kind, understanding, informative, and engaging. Great young man.

Amazing stay just 2 blocks from the major streets surrounding the acropolis. The rooftop bar/patio has an incredible view of the acropolis and the breakfast was amazing. Asked reception for recommendations for dinner and she provided some incredible local options that were off the beaten path. Would be 5 stars but our rooms wifi didn’t really work. Wifi was accessible everywhere else on the premises
