No coffee til Breakfast!
Very nice, updated a little, the first young guy was very helpful and friendly. The second young guy was very sleepy.! Very disappointed. There was no coffee in the room or the lobby, only could get coffee at breakfast.

Pros: The front desk staff was friendly & efficient, check-in was quick, the elevators ran smoothly, room was quiet, walkable distance to UGA without the price-gouging of city center. Cons: The pool/spa was closed (permanently), our room wasn't the cleanest, breakfast was sorely lacking, the person managing the food area was filing her nails over the buffet, so we skipped the underwhelming breakfast options.

I arrived Thursday evening Oct. 10 to discover that by mistake my reservation was for Thursday night the following week. The evening desk clerk made a call and quickly arranged a room for me for the night and it was a perfect room with a parking space right in front of it. I'm very thankful for the desk clerk helping to resolve the situation so quickly and well. I'll be staying at Best Western when visiting Athens from now on.

Disgusting
This hotel is disgusting. I’m not sure when the last time this room had actually been cleaned. The towels were stained. The cold water knob on the sink was broken with a random party sitting on the counter. The bathroom counter and mirrors were dirty along with the floor, walls, bathroom vent, lamp shade, shower curtain, etc. I kept my shoes or socks on any time I was in the room. I slept on top of the sheets and thankfully had brought my own pillow and blanket. I did check for bed bugs, but did not see any signs thankfully. The staff was friendly, but never once checked my ID, which is nice for checking in ease, but it also make me feel unsettled like security is not even thought of here. I understand the markup because of game day, but spending $800 on this stay for one night was just robbery. I will not be back.

Nice place. There weee a few things that could use some attention. The door was difficult to open and you had to slam it shut and the AC was loud when it turned on and off. The breakfast was OK.

This was single handedly the worst hotel room I have ever stayed in. The floors in the entire room were dirty and looked like it had never been cleaned despite the overwhelming bleach smell. The bedding was covered in various stains throughout all the layers of covers and sheets and the shower/tub was disgusting and covered in stains and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Overall, a very disgusting room and I will never stay at a Best Western again. I would have checked out but basically no hotels in the area had availability due to a Conference in town and football game. It was so gross when I got home i panicked cleaning everything that I brought into that room as it would not have surprised me is there were bed bugs. Management and staff overall should be very ashamed of themselves for giving rooms to people in that state.
