first of all, the value for money was excellent. we were upgraded to an Acropolis View room and received a bottle of wine which was really nice. The staff were excellent but the hotel is definitely in need of a refresh. the biggest disappointment was the pool. it was in a courtyard that barely got sun and got crowded in the afternoon. I really wanted a place to swim and get sun in the last days of my vacation and I should have chosen another hotel for this. But, the rest was excellent and if this doesn't matter to you, the hotel is really nice.

Nice location, not too far to walk to the metro station so easy to navigate the whole city. Staff were friendly and helpful. Offered recomendations for restaurants and made sure we had directions. Room was large. Balcony was nice to have. Bathroom was a little bit outdated, shower not very powerful but fine for a few days. Nice to use the pool for a break when it got too hot to walk around the sites. Also nice to have the bar next to it.

The Divani and its staff were wonderful. However, Athens was a Greek tragedy. Graffiti and garbage everywhere. If you are looking for something close to the Acropolis, this is a great place for a couple days. After that, head out from Athens and find the areas that still show pride in their surroundings.

We enjoyed this hotel - it was luxurious, if a little dated, clean and cool and had excellent amenities including a restaurant with the best unobstructed rooftop view of the acropolis in Athens, was super convenient to shopping and all tourist sites. Service was also excellent. Would recommend.

We had an exceptional stay at the Divani Palace Acropolis after our cruise. We were traveling as a family with our 12 year old son, and the hotel was perfect for all of us. The location couldn’t be better, an easy walk to the Acropolis, great restaurants, shops, and lively squares 😀 The front desk staff were friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Michael, the bellman, truly made our stay outstanding. He helped with our luggage, arranged transportation, and shared helpful tips whenever we needed them. He made sure that our luggage were stored safely while we visited Rome for a few days. Always kind, professional, and smiling 😀 thank you, Michael! We stayed in both the Executive Triple Room and the Acropolis View Terrace Room. Both were spacious, comfortable, and the quality toiletries were a nice touch. The food, drinks, pool, roof top bar, and views were phenomenal. Highly recommend! We will absolutely stay here again!
