Efficient, friendly and very helpful staff. Centrally located to many tourist sites, shopping and restaurants. Breakfast in the 8th floor restaurant was not only delicious with a wide variety of options but offered a great view as well as an outdoor dining option. Our room, while spacious, was in need of some renovation…furniture was quite worn and bed was very soft and did not provide support. In addition, our courtyard facing room was very noisy. Despite a few drawbacks, the pros outweigh the cons and the Electra Palace proved to be a good choice for us. We would stay there again.

Superb staff! Very accommodating and gracious as I had an early check in. Very attentive to guest's needs. Beautiful hotel and roof top dining with a view of Acropolis. Close walk to Acropolis and shopping and dining! HIGHLY recommend the spa - superb massage! But what really shines is the professionalism of the staff and old world service that leaves guests feeling welcome and cared for!

Just back from a November long weekend…we were so pleased to have booked this hotel. Perfectly located for everything the centre of the city has to offer on foot…charming staff who were friendly and very helpful…comfortable and clean rooms (we were in doubles on the 5th floor with both front and Acropolis views)…perfectly serviceable small spa and gym - we used both - a very delicious breakfast buffet with lots of fresh choices and a lovely decked outside pool area with a dozen or so sun loungers which was open and useable in the lovely weather until mid-November. The real star of the show is the stunning rooftop restaurant and bar. What an incredible view of the city and Acropolis at breakfast and early cocktails!

We loved our stat at the Electra Palace Hotel in Athens. It's centrally located in the Plaka, with so many dining options for lunch and dinner. It's also a 10-15 min. walk to the Acropolis (and has a beautiful view of the Acropolis from many rooms as well as their beautiful rooftop deck). The staff could not have been more helpful and the breakfast is delicious. Would definitely stay here again!

The Electra Palace was well-rated by our guidebook and it didn't disappoint. Although our room had no view, the breakfast terrace/restaurant had an amazing view of the Acropolis. The breakfast buffet is also great, with many different choices. The hotel makes it easy to explore the touristy Plaka area of Athens and you can also walk to the area around Monasteraki Square. The staff were very helpful and were able to help us book an extra night when our original plans fell through.
