Situated in a great location, close to the flea market, acropolis, and Ermou Street. . The staff were friendly and helpful. The pictures online didn’t really match the description of the rooms. However, still a great place to stay.

Very poor experience + fraudulent advertising

Rating on behalf of my parents: The construction on this hotel is not yet finished and key features (such as the rooftop bar and gym) are not finished - the staff claim this was a recent flood but other reviews suggest it just is not complete. Several mechanisms were faulty - our phone didn't work and door would not lock (we raised the latter to the manager and of course it was just our fault). The room - family suite - was nice other than this. We tried to be reasonable and ask for a partial refund. This was denied and the manager on staff physically walked away from us without a resolution. Also - we have reason to believe many of the Google reviews are fake, having seen a 5-star from the manager we spoke to. There were also 5-star reviews here on Hotels before, it turns out, the hotel opened.

CONSTRUCTION SITE - STAY AWAY

This hotel is, quite simply, not finished and not ready to open. Stay far away. After reading reviews about construction on the rooftop, we contacted the hotel in the days before the trip. Staff gave conflicting messages before landing on a 'plumbing issue' that occurred '3 days ago' and caused them to need to rip up the entire rooftop, which was untrue given the timeline of other reviews. We asked for a solution to this, and their response was find another place and that we could cancel our stay for free. When we arrived, not only was there no rooftop bar, but also the 'gym' was being used as a storage area with no gym equipment in sight. When we queried this, they claimed this was also the 'plumbing issue', but we found it funny they did not alert us to this in advance when we discussed the rooftop - we believe again this part of the hotel was just not yet constructed. The hotel is full of health and safety hazards, with wires sticking out from the floors and walls. There were building works going on in the only lounge. The digital mechanisms of the doors and lift were faulty. The phones in our two rooms did not work - a 'battery issue', we were told. After the first night, we requested a partial refund, and were told as we had been 'notified' of the rooftop bar (WE messaged THEM and no other guest we spoke to had been notified), the best they could do was that we could leave early for free. The hotel is a building site with no recognition or compensation for this.

I will start off by saying that the team at Eternity was the best part of the experience - a that is saying a lot because the hotel has much going for it. From the moment we arrived until our departure after our last breakfast, the staff was friendly, attentive, and eager to ensure we were enjoying our experience. Though the hotel is relatively new and a few kinks are still being worked out, the staff always had a workaround to ensure we got what we needed. Their attentiveness and efforts were greatly appreciated. Beyond that, the location is perfect. There is so much available right outside of the doors from restaurants to shopping to historic and cultural sites. We really felt as if we were in the middle of everything - able to walk to almost all of our destinations. Two metro stops were conveniently available for further destinations. We had room 602 which had a balcony and an amazing view including the Acropolis. The room was comfortable and adequate for two adults and one child. We did have an issue with the shower drain but the cleaning staff was attentive and helped us work through it. Overall we loved our stay and would eagerly stay at Eternity again. We highly recommend it!

The people who work at Eternity are so friendly and helpful, and the location can’t be beaten for proximity to the buzz of Monastiraki and Plaka. There were a couple of items unfinished in my room but nothing that impacted my stay; I will definitely stay here again next time I’m in Athens!

The property looked beautiful however the tiles in the bathroom and shower were very slippery. The floor waste overflowed with suds from the room above. We could hear the trickling of the shower above too and footsteps. We could hear noise in the hallway too. I don’t think the soundproofing is good enough for this hotel especially for the price, the bed was very comfortable and overall the appearance of the room was excellent. When the hotel organized transport they charged us €55 and a taxi showed up. We could have organized this ourselves as the fare was €36 but we had to pay €55. I know this hotel has recently opened but there are a few things to consider when charging customers $750 a night. We had to leave early so a takeaway breakfast was given to us and it consisted of a stale sandwich.

We loved the view from the Acropolis, especially when illuminated at night. Perfect location near the ruins and Plaka neighborhood. The young woman at the front desk was so kind and eager to help and gave us great advice. Nice options are offered for breakfast, which is included.
