The facility is sleek and modern - from the lobby to the social areas to the rooms - yet very comfortable and accommodating. Very walkable to the Acropolis, dining, shopping along Ermou, and public transportation. Our room was spotless and housekeeping kept it that way throughout our stay. The icing on the cake was the delightful and friendly staff who were always there for us with dining recommendations, great breakfast service, and anything to make you comfortable (even an ice pack!).

Great location in walking distance to the center of Athens. We’ve stayed at the Mati Nlh too they have a strong family of great spots to enjoy!!! And an amazing breakfast too!

Lovely modern building on the edge of the Kerameikos neighbourhood. Room was well insulated, which kept it cool and quiet. Our room had a spacious balcony overlooking a green space and with a partial view of the Acropolis. Breakfast buffet available had a lot of variety, and was quite tasty. The only downside was the size and layout of the room. It was quite small, and the bathroom door didn't offer much privacy to users.

NLH was in a good central location, but be aware that many of the advertised amenities come with additional charges, are misrepresented, or are at another hotel entirely. The fitness center is very underwhelming, the rooftop bar is at a location 10 mins away, and the “possibility of a free breakfast” requires an additional €13/person per day. Based on local prices, don’t spend the money on breakfast and walk somewhere else. The laundry service is very pricy and if you have any sort of sensitivities to fragrance, do NOT use. We don’t have specific allergies to detergent but broke out in a rash and had to rewash our clothes on our own expense. Bring your own conditioner as there is none. Rooms are clean and some staff are very friendly and have good recommendations. Just be aware of hidden charges.

The hotel itself was perfect for a short stay. Everything is about a 5-10 euro Taxi ride away including attractions and shopping. The hotel had an amazing breakfast, and it was very clean. The surrounding area seemed sketchy so we didn’t walk at night, but felt safe in the hotel.

We stayed one night and the accommodations were great. Very clean. The location is perfect for tourists and the view of the city from our hotel room was beautiful . The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The only reason I gave that 4 stars is because we had a very early flight at the Athens airport. I asked the front desk about shuttle service. I was told they would set it up for us ( we needed to leave at 3 am) and was given a cost. This was great because I didn’t want to worry about not being able to find a taxi, etc. so early in the morning. However, when I went to check out, the young man behind the desk ( very sweet and helpful) told me he did not see any reservation or booking for our ride to the airport. He made a few calls for us but to no avail. Thankfully we were able to find a great taxi to take us. Despite this mishap I’d stay again!

Hotel itself is nice and good breakfast. It is In a run down part of town but I feel like all of Athens is dirty and rundown. House keeping was great your room was always clean but they don’t use blankets on their beds, it’s only the thin top throw sheet.

When i walked through the door i was met by Elizabeth, she welcomed me & told me everything about the area, my room was lovely & the area is fantastic, lots of shops & historic sights you can walk to, couple of things need doing, hotel should put little table & chairs on the balcony & complementary water only given on the first day, it’s only 50c everywhere which is very cheap but I feel hotel should provide that. I had a medical issue & Elizabeth came to the rescue & provided me with 2 free tablets. Whatever she is being paid isn’t enough, the other staff are ok too, but she goes above & beyond. Breakfast buffet is the same every day & next time I go I will not choose it as the food choices up the road are much better & very cheap.
