We recently stayed at Nur Apart Hotel in Athens, and here is my honest review based on our experience: The hotel is located in a very central area, which is definitely one of its biggest advantages. However, parking can be an issue. The parking lot recommended by the hotel charged €40 per night and was quite far. Luckily, I found another parking spot just a 2-minute walk from the hotel for €23 per night. The hotel itself is an old commercial building converted into a multi-story hotel with rooms on different floors. Entry to the building, elevator, and your room is all via code access, which felt secure, especially since we arrived late at night. The room we stayed in was on the first floor and was clean, modern, and well-equipped. The bed was large and extremely comfortable. It had a smart TV where you could log into your own streaming accounts, a Nespresso machine, a small kettle, and even a bottle of wine in the fridge. Towels were fresh and clean. However, there were a few downsides. The sound insulation between rooms wasn’t great — when someone closed the door in the neighboring room, it startled us, especially during the night. Also, for the last two nights, we experienced a strong sewage smell in our room. I contacted the staff via WhatsApp around 1:30 AM, and they kindly offered to move us to the 6th floor, but I declined since my wife was already asleep. Excellent Hotel

I booked this property very last minute (the morning of!). The staff were immediately in communication with me to see if I needed a car service, as well as to provide contact and arrival information. Upon arrival, the room was clean and neat with more amenities than I typically see in other European hotels. It is in the city center which can be a loud and busy area. Ear plugs are provided, which I didn’t used despite being a relatively light sleeper - Netflix on my iPad was sufficient. For the duration of my stay the communication and services were excellent. I requested a car for my airport travel on the morning of my departure and the car arrived promptly and the driver was excellent. Highly recommend this hotel.

The lobby of the building was by no means fancy but once I got into my room, I was pleasantly surprised and comfortable. As a solo traveler, it was important to be in a place located closely to the acropolis and all the action. I easily walk around and shop, see the attractions, find food and bars, and even street music. The street is noisy because we are in the center of everything so that is one thing to be aware of as the noise can be heard inside the room. I could take the train from the airport to the hotel easily and for only 9 euros. The place was clean and I liked the decor and bed linen. I would definitely stay here again and I recommend this hotel to others, especially solo travelers!

I had a great time staying in this place. It does not have the usual hotel setting as the day before check-in, you'll receive codes to gain access to the hotel. The room is contemporarily furnished, roomy, and very clean. The staff is helpful and trying their best to meet you needs. The only thing is as it is right on the pedestrian only street, it could get a bit noisy. There was live music played until 2:00 am, so try to avoid this side of the building. The rooms on the quieter side are of bigger sizes to accommodate larger numbers of people.
