My husband and I stayed for a weekend as we were visiting our daughter who studies in UGA. As soon as we entered the room we perceived a smell of cigarette. All our clothes and stuff smell like that the entire stay. There was a non smoking sign inside the room so definitely it should have not smelled like that. We had a 2 queen bed room and the first night the staff only made one bed and the following 2 nights they didn’t make either of them but did pick up the trash. The hotel has a more motel feel. Rooms are accessible by an outdoor hall (not a favorite of us). Barely a lobby to relax. They offered free breakfast but we never had it. It is not a place to sleep well and recharge.

Accustomed to the ability to walk inside upon check-in no matter the time and a separate deposit for incidentals, but standing outside to check-in and the extent of requirements were a bit much to then walk into a stinky room. The check in was really late and I didn't complain having been able to 'air' the room out, but have been wondering on whether I'll get the deposit back or not. Don't smoke, no pets, and don't leave bodily fluids just anywhere. Had higher expectations (staff, amenities, breakfast) for the cost. Its run like a low rate hourly spot amd cost more.
