The roo. Was very clean a d modern with a large window that opened. Lobby was quite nicely dedorated and the rooftop patio view of the acropolis was a highlight. I dont think i would stay in this exact area area as it was quite gritty but nicer more manicured areas were nearby. Hotel was great, area less so.

The hotel is situated near the Psirri square, between Monastiraki and Omonoia square (please stay away from Omonoia as there is high criminality and lots of drug addicts around the place sometimes taking drugs in broad daylight). The location is very good for enjoying a meal or coffee at Psirri, 10 minutes from Monastiraki and about 20 minutes from the Akropolis. The place does not have hotel facilities. There is no bar or cafe inside. Breakfast is served at a place nearby. You will be better not buying it and simply getting your own. The air-conditioning in the room was extremely loud and clearly needs repair. The TV was hanging on one side. There can be noise coming from outside. Staff was generally kind and helpful. I would have liked some flexibility with check out. I think 11am is too early especially when check in is at 3pm the earliest. This place is more suited for young travellers. For what it is I would consider it at the pricier side.

Hotel rooms are nice, but basic, with very comfortable beds - which is the most important thing (next to location) in my opinion. As far as location goes, it’s in an area that makes most everything accessible by walking, however the immediate 2-3 blocks around the hotel are currently looking very rough. I don’t think it’s unsafe, just unsightly and the streets are a mix of dirt and cement filled with potholes. But just walk a couple blocks south and you’re in a much nicer area. Overall a comfortable stay though, and the rooftop bar view is amazing, private and quiet, with a great, friendly bartender, Nikos.

The staff here couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful! We would stay here again, but not in the middle of summer, without a pool the heat was unbearable and we had pay to use the pool at another hotel nearby. Just a plunge pool would have been great (but the plunge pool is now unused).

The service here was phenomenal! The front desk staff was prompt to answer questions and arrange transportation whenever we needed. The room was spacious, modern and clean. Location was walking distance to nearly everything that we wanted to explore in Athens and only a short metro ride if we didn’t want to walk as far. Our room had multiple balconies with amazing views! Also, really enjoyed the restaurant located beside the hotel.
