The property itself is really cute, quaint, high ceiling balcony room, well kept. Front desk staff very helpful. The area around the property is 100% (verified by Athens tourist guide) the sketchiest part of the city. As a single female disabled traveller I picked this hotel because of location to metro. However I never felt safe enough to use it. Did not go out at night unless it was to rush from front door of building to Uber and back. When I had trouble opening front door of hotel with antique key, I’m pretty sure local drug dealer was the person who helped me get into hotel one night. Even in the daytime I overheard shop owner next door tell tourist kids 7-12 yr olds waiting for their parents who were in grocery store, to wait inside the store because “ it would be safer”. Overall, hotel was cute, well kept, room beautiful and comfortable but neighbourhood 100% not safe. IMO.

Property was a self check-in hotel with limited reception hours. But the Staff were great and resolved all our needs. Convenient location for travel tour pick up spots. Grocery store next door and a coffee/food/ bakery a few steps away. Perfect for just somewhere to sleep after a day of exhausting touring.

My room was a little small but apart from that, everything was top-notch… extremely convenient to Plaka and the monorail stations. Eco-friendly water sitch, complementary bottle of champagne waiting for me, very nice manager. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property and staff were wonderful. Unfortunately, Expedia gives incorrect information about the accessibility on this property so please be careful. I had to leave early due to lack of wheelchair access. However, if I wasn’t disabled and struggling so much it would’ve been a perfect hotel. It does have a lift to get to upper floors but has a step when entering with no ramp and no rails or roll in shower in the bathroom. For an able bodied person, I would highly recommend this hotel because the location is perfect, the staff are lovely and the hotel is done up beautifully

This property is extremely cute and staff went above and beyond to make us welcome and comfortable. They were even available to message via WhatsApp if we had questions! The property is very clean and we had everything we needed. The area felt a little sketchy at night; however, we felt safe overall, especially within the property because there was good built-in security.

Great, well located, hotel.

Super friendly and helpful host, who ensured we were well received and welcomed as guests. The room was very good, with all expected amenities and ample hot water (we never ran out). The only grumble about the room I would have is that the air conditioning blows directly onto the bed, and the lowest setting was still quite powerful, which made it preferable for us to sleep without it on. However, I can imagine in summer this wouldn't be pleasant to do. The location is truly excellent and the hotel offers an outstanding quality for the price and location. Would stay here again without hesitation.
