My husband and I stayed at the Varaba Country House for one night before an early flight from Athens airport. The house itself is beautifully renovated, our room very comfortable, with a fabulous shower. The highlight of our stay was the dinner, one of the best of our entire trip to Greece, served by our host. Most highly recommended!

Candidly, when I arrived it was dark outside and when i left, it was dark outside so i never got to see the property in the daytime (which makes me sad bc it seemed cool). That being said, the inside was awesome! Very modern, very clean, plenty of space. The bathroom was very nice. Additionally, Nikolia took amazing care of us. Lots of communication, with plenty of notice (which was KEY. Some of the places we stayed didnt send information until the day before and we were already traveling at that point and time was tight and the internet spotty). We also used the shuttle to the airport which was seamless and convenient. This was definitely a pleasant experience and we would certainly recommend this location.

Great little B&B close to the airport but also feels like miles away in the country. Very secluded so nothing v close by unless you have a car. Quiet surrounding except for the planes landing. Our room was v pleasant, v clean and had a good shower. Dinner was prepared by staff so you could eat at the property. We left too early for breakfast.

Lovely location, in the middle of pistachio, fig, and olive orchards and a horse paddock. Close to the airport, which is ideal. Even though you hear the planes overhead, you also get a taste of the countryside, with birds and wind in the trees, plus a house dog and cat. A perfect place to recover from jet lag or rest up before a long flight.

What a great find! Such a nice place close to the airport. Perfect stay the night before our international flight. We went with their transportation as well as their homemade dinner. Made some new friends and had a wonderful evening! Pretty grounds to walk around as well!

A little gem 10 minutes from the airport …feels like you’re at a country house …dog and cat running around ,very cozy and a delicious home cooked dinner if you order it … you do hear a lot of planes flying overhead but hey it is an airport hotel …

Such a nice place. Owner offered to organize airport transportation for 25euro/trip and homemade dinner for 21euro/person also and it was delicious. The home is so beautiful and everyone is so nice. It feels more like you're staying with a family friend than at a hotel.
