Friendly staff / some issues with room

Lobby was beautiful and staff were very nice. Especially the Starbucks staff. However room was not updated to match the lobby. Shower outdated and curtains hung inside tub. I felt like the bed was uncomfortable and there was a bugs stain in mattress that was not very appealing at all. I also thought the $21 for breakfast per person was a little steep.

Disappointing for a Marriott.

This is just an older hotel... When I checked into my room after midnight (stranded due to cancelled flights), the heat had been turned up to 75 so it felt like a sauna. And "Emergency Evacuation" alarms went off 2 different times during the night. When I checked out early in the morning, the desk agent didn't even mention the alarms... Not a restful stay at all...
