I am honestly shocked this has an 8.8 . I know the price wasn’t high but, for the rating I thought this place was a steal! Boy was I wrong, this place is a 6 at best. It stays two bed standard size, which nowadays means two queen size beds, nope they were full, the showers had some oldddd shower curtains that were stained. The bed sheets were old and uncomfortable. The size of the room was ok and the maids do a good job of keeping it as best as they can, but the management or owners clearly don’t care to update things that are beyond outdated.

Perfect in a pinch, or even planned

We decided to extend our road trip by a few days to visit Helen and Atlanta. Needing a decent stop we found the Brick Lodge to be conveniently located and reasonably priced. The reception was friendly and efficient. The room was very comfortable with microwave, fridge and coffee maker. Local eateries abound, both chain fast-food and unique restaurants. Parking was easy. No elevator so expect stairs. Rooms are a bit dated but clean and roomy. Pool was clean, warm and refreshing.
