I've stayed at this hotel several times over the years. It's lost its luster. Lots of wear and tear of the furniture. The coffeemaker had dust on the inside. White washcloths were off-white. My travel companion had a broken latch lock, no foyer light and a mini fridge that never got cold.

It was clean, with a kind helpful staff. The breakfast was good. I left at 8:30 a.m. with a sour stomach, but I did not check out in case I had to come back and rest. I called back front desk at 10:30 a.m. to request an extended check out, which they approved. That helped tremendously.

It was ok for the price. It definitely needed some repairs as an example only 1 out of the 3 drawers were usable. The other 2 were broken. The air conditioning had a bad smell which kept us up one night though they did come and fix it the next day.

A little sketchy.

The lady that checked us in was absolutely great. Thankfully we were only there for 7 hours as a quick stop on a longer trip. Furniture was beat up pretty bad. There were iron burn marks and some stains on the couch. We did not sit on it. Carpet was ripped pretty bad in spots. There were signs everywhere about them not being responsible if your car is broken into; that did not make us feel very safe.

Stopover on way home from charlotte

The hotel was nice. The staff at checkin was not friendly. The bed was comfortable, but there were multiple black hairs in the tub and on the floor in the bathroom. The morning we left, I tried to get some of the complimentary coffee and there was nothing but hot water in the carafe. I alerted the staff and they were very nice and immediately brewed coffee and filled the carafe.

At first, I was impressed with the presentation of the staff and the overall welcome introductions and directions given by the front desk. However, parking was very difficult and alarming for me because I have a brand new Infiniti truck and I had to park it far away from the building my room was . Also, we requested to have the room cleaned after the room was cleaned my 14 carat gold Figueroa chain went missing. I called management at the hotel immediately when I noticed the chain was gone and after three attempts for management to get back in contact with me, I have not received any response as of yet which I am very annoyed because I had that chain for 10 years and it was very sentimental to me. I will not be going back to that particular hotel based upon the experience that I had. Mattie Finn
