Everything was great--nice clean property; clean, modern room; AC worked very well. I didn't use the pool, but it appeared clean, and I liked that it was enclosed for security while still being open-air. One disappointment: if I wanted to decompress with a streaming show on Netflix (I very much did want to do this), etc, I had to provide my own log-in credentials for my own personal accounts. I felt that was very cheap and this definitely affected my opinion. I was also surprised not to find an ice bucket or cups in the room. After a long drive, it would have been nice to just be in the room and not have to "hunt" for these things. One bonus: if you need to unwind in your room with a glass of wine, they carry a few brands in the lobby, along with some other non-alcohol options. I didn't need that, but I thought it was a great idea! They even had ATL merch if you wanted to purchase :-)

So grateful for their gracious hospitality!

I was one of thousands of passengers affected by weather delays and cancellations at ATL airport. There were no flights out, no cars to rent, and no rooms available. I booked a room online at 2am after 20hrs of traveling. Imagine my surprise and disappointment when I got to the hotel and was told 1) my reservation was actually for check in at 4pm (13hrs later 😭) and that they were sold completely sold out for the current night. I was so tired and defeated, I was willing to sleep on the lobby floor. Every member of their team offered me kindness in a time of extreme stress and need. They went out of their way to help me get into an unexpectedly opened room and were gracious enough to apply my reservation for the following night to the current night. I’m so grateful for the humanity, the hot clean shower, the incredibly soft pillows, and comfortable bed. I woke up a few hours later with a better grasp on my sanity and feeling more capable of braving the rest of my journey home. The world needs more people like this team.

It is a smaller, older hotel that has been renovated with modern decor. Very simple breakfast - bagels, muffins, cereal. AC was great. Loved the $5 shuttle to the ball field. They have a great convenience store selection and even Braves merch! Best part was the washer and dryer that came in handy when we got caught in the rain at the ball game. (22 minute walk to the battery.) Overall great budget friendly pick.

Great hotel, very nice staff. Provided breakfast and had a little ‘store’ with drinks and snacks. Clean room, and was close to Globe Life stadium. The only downside was that the hotel is located in a low area so I had to walk uphill both ways, but that’s not the hotels fault. I’ll definitely stay here again in the future.

Short Stay at Spark Atlanta

Our stay was a bit stressful the first day for a number of reasons but through no fault of staff or facilities. In fact I want to thank Jay the mgr. who was very calming and courteous to us at check in as it was a very long day of driving to get to this destination. I was very concerned on the first nights stay about leaving the property and not having a parking spot, as their lot space is also a for hire space. However, the staff assured there would be no problem and there wasn’t, I’m glad to say. My only complaint to the admin for Hotels.com when you post an offering for a Hotel such as this one and it’s proximity to major sporting event location, you should state in the description that this location will offer a shuttle service to nearby events. Also like to mention that Anita was very cordial at checking out.
