Subject: Disappointing Stay – Request for Compensation Dear Expedia Customer Support, I’m writing to express my disappointment with my recent Hilton stay, booked through Expedia. The experience did not meet expectations due to repeated service failures. Upon arrival, no warm welcome was offered—not even the standard Hilton cookie. My room lacked a TV remote, and despite notifying the front desk, none was provided until much later. The bathroom had missing essentials—no conditioner, and the body lotion dispenser was detached from the wall. When I reported these concerns, I was given two remotes but still no conditioner, and the dispenser remained unfixed. Additionally, the in-room safe did not work, leaving me unable to securely store my valuables. When I contacted the desk, I was told no staff were available to assist. The hotel was reportedly short-staffed, with most employees, including the GM, being new. While a room change was offered, it wasn’t a practical solution given my schedule. I expected my concerns to be addressed, but they were not. This experience fell far below Hilton’s standard, and I request compensation in the form of a partial refund.
