I fully understand that they were short staffed due to the weather. But, there is ZERO excuse to have to wait over 2 1/2 hours to get our dinner. We ordered about 6:15 PM and received our food after 9:45 PM. They told us the “system” was down, then started bringing out other people’s food that had ordered an hour after us, because it was easier to cook. Then when the food was delivered the chicken wings looked like they came off of a pigeon, the roasted chicken was dry, the forgot my salad and got the dressing wrong when they brought it out, also, after waiting 2 1/2 plus hours we never received drinks or utensils. When I asked to speak to the hotel manager, I was told she was busy the first time, second time she stepped away, and the third time she was gone for the evening that I would have to speak to the daytime manager. I checked out at 6:00AM, they wouldn’t be there till 9! I expected below par service due to the storm, but, they knew for a week this storm was coming, they should have set aside a block of rooms for staff to ensure this wouldn’t happen. They knew there would be the potential of hundreds canceled flights, with Atlanta being Deltas main hub. They took zero action before the fact, and didn’t care for their patrons needs. Being a Hilton Rewards member, I will never stay at that hotel again, and would recommend to anyone they should avoid it.

Motel standards at the Embassy Suites
They had to switch one of our rooms because there were roaches coming out of the coffee maker and sink. Unsanitary practices at breakfast buffet. Specidically, the ladle for the grits was dirty. I alerted one of the kitchen workers who decided that the resolution was to stick the dirty ladle in the co tai er of grits to hide the dirty ladle and continued its self-serve distribution to guests. I notified Tamika, who was the manager on duty at the front desk.

Beautiful and clean. I liked the concept. They need to updat their "restaurant" food menu. They had 1 woman waitress, and she didn't display any type of bubbly personality. You can tell that she didn't wanna be there. Anywyas, the menu was over priced. Other than that, I would stay here again. I recommend. Just eat dinner somewhere else.

The little things make a difference
First thing we asked front desk to fix chirping smoke alarm (chirping every 30 seconds) . They said ok. After an hour could not get front to answer so went down and asked again. This time was fixed. Then I went looking for ice machine. The one on my floor was out. The one on next floor was broken. Went to ground floor and asked waitress but she said to wait until she was done with customers. After long wait I gave up and asked front for help. She said see bartender but she was very busy. In fact I only ever saw these three employees (and the handyman) handling the entire hotel. The happy hour was a disappointment but breakfast was excellent.

It was a very comfortable stay. Even though it is right next to the airport you could not hear the airplanes landing. The only thing was the wifi connection. I worked fine the 1st few hours and then my phone would not connect at all. Would stay here again.
