Pros: The location was excellent and the hotel was very nice and felt relatively new. Cons: The bar was closed on friday and Saturday night. When we asked why, we were told the person staffing it was sick. We decided to stay a second night. The front office told us we could book on-line and he would be sure everything was set up for us to stay in the same room. We left to go shopping and on or return we were locked out of our room. The hotel receptionist said they had forgotten to get things set up. These are the small things you take for granted at a well managed hotel.The iron was also broken .

I was on the top floor, which I paid extra for-the noise as unrelenting. Constant every night while trying to sleep. I’m assuming that the air conditioners are on the roof. Ice maker has no sign and didn’t work. All 4 pillows were major lumpy. Had to get a better one for 2nd night.

Location not what expected but stay was fine

The check-in clerk was very nice and apologetic that they did not have key cards available so we waited until he found one for each of our rooms. My expectation was set higher than what we experienced. I had thought the hotel was closer to the Avalon shops than it is, so the price of our stay was not aligned with my expectation. That said, the room was clean. I loved the shower having both an overhead and hand held option. The bed was very comfortable, and the inclusion of excercise equipment in the room was interesting. I would not likely stay again for a vacation, but it would be a great choice for a business stay. Nothing wrong with the Even. I just had different expectations than I would have if I had more thoroughly researched the hotel location.

Would be nice if the bar was open more hours. Bartender wanted to stop serving us at 9:15 when there was a party of 20+ people wanting to buy drinks. Hours of the bar is 5-10pm so it really didnt make sense.
