My stay was just OK.
I would have to say my stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta Airport North was just OK. The main reason why I say that is because, I didn't realize the hotel was under renovations until I arrived. The gentlemen at the front desk was very helpful to me, as far as my room accommodations go. The pictures on the website didn't really match certain parts of the hotel. So, the first room didn't look like what I purchased online. So, the guy changed my room, and it was better. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was very clean. The best part about my stay was it was very quiet, which is what I needed. The hot tub wasn't working, which was a disappointment, and there was a flood on one of the lower floors, so I had to wait for them to turn the water back so I could take a shower. The restaurant in the lobby was also not what I expected. But the service at the restaurant was very good, and so was the food. The shuttle service to and from the airport was great. And there were some nice restaurants in the area, near the hotel. Overall, on a scale of 1-10, I would rate my stay at a 7. I'm not sure if I would stay at this hotel again, but if I do, it would have to be after renovations are completed.

I called the day before and asked was the indoor pool heated. I was told yes. When I checked in the next day I asked the clerk what time does the pool close and I was told 10pm. I went down the hall to look at the pool and there was a hand written note that said out of order. They were renovating that wasn’t disclosed on the website either. The gym wasn’t usable either

This will be on my NEVER AGAIN list. Incompetent and Rude Staff. Looks like the "renovation" has either stopped or is on a 10 year plan. Watched numerous people walk down the street, get in an elevator, then minutes later leave and walk away. I can imagine what that was about. Accidentally canceled one of my Expedia reservations then billed me for the night and told me I'd have to get a refund from Expedia even though it was there mistake. There for 3 nights and never got new towels etc. No coffee in the lobby. Elevators sound like they could crash at any point. Overall maintenance of the property was horrible including faded plastic plants outside in the planters with trash all over the sitting areas outside. DO NOT BELIVE THE PICTURES. They must have been taken years ago. I'm a 5 night a month on the road guest and this is by FAR the worst of this brand I've ever seen.
