It felt like the building lacked proper insulation—we stayed on the 7th floor and could hear every conversation outside as if it were happening right in our room. Both nights were extremely difficult to sleep through, with what sounded like every car having a loud muffler. The noise level was just too much. That said, the hotel itself is a bit older but still offers all the basic amenities you’d need. Their breakfast was a nice touch and definitely appreciated.

Lackluster breakfast and room door did not lock.

This Hyatt is in a great location surrounding lots of dining and shopping. However, the breakfast experience made me think twice about considering complimentary breakfast as a good reason to stay here. But more importantly, my room door did not truly lock. In spite of informing staff, we were not moved to a different room. Fortunately, we were not broken into. But I will not take this chance again.

The property does not have adequate parking. They use a parking garage located near the hotel. Hotel guests can only park on the 3rd and 6th floors of this garage. Both nights we had to park on the 6th floor. On Saturday night me and my sister almost got stuck in the elevator going to our car. The elevator stopped on the 5th floor. We had to walk upstairs to get to the 6th floor. This was around 9:45pm. After returning back to the hotel the elevator did not work at all. We pushed the button elevator doors never opened. We had to walk down from the 6th floor. This was around 1:30am. When got inside the hotel we informed the front desk clerk that the elevator was broken. He stated that “the hotel doesn’t own the parking garage but he would call and try to get someone to come out.” We checked out on Sunday and the elevator was still not functioning. Again, we had to walk up to the 6th floor to retrieve our vehicle. Parking at this property is $18 a day. I would not recommend this property to anyone because of the parking situation. Having to walk up and down stairwells at night is dangerous, especially in an area where homeless people can easily access the property.

The room was okay not great. No sheets for pullout sofa , not enough towels . The front desk not helpful and when asked about towels none were available. Did not sleep but a couple of hours all we could hear is loud racing noises sounded like we were at a car show . Very hard to sleep with all that noise every 5 seconds. Pillows and bed not comfortable.

What I liked most about this property is that it feels well-kept and secure. The layout is practical, and I can really see myself being comfortable here. The neighborhood also seems peaceful, and that’s important to me — I’m looking for a place that feels like home, not just somewhere to sleep.

Staff was average. Could do with some additional customer service and presentation training. Had an incident where staff accessed my room for cleaning an hour after checking in. Also, tried to check in early and was told check in is at 3pm and there would be an early check in $40 charge even though a room was available. Then began working in the lobby only to be told about noon that I could be checked into my room. Convoluted, unnecessary and inconsistent
