Mixed experience at this hotel. First impressions were positive—the staff was friendly and willing to help, which I really appreciated. However, there were several issues that made the stay less enjoyable. The hotel shares space with the Crowne Plaza, but the signage is confusing and made it difficult to figure out where to go. I paid for parking with my reservation, but it wasn’t clear where to park. It took about 15 minutes to find the right spot, with misleading entrances labeled for Staybridge. I even had to pay $3 just to turn around in a self-pay deck I mistakenly entered for less than a minute. One of the biggest disappointments was the balconies. They were heavily advertised for the suites, but when we arrived, they were taped shut and not usable. We also didn’t have enough washcloths for the entire stay and couldn’t reach room service, so we had to grab towels from the gym. The free breakfast was decent, but if you’re vegetarian or vegan, options are very limited. Additionally, one of the pillowcases had makeup stains from a previous guest, and we couldn’t get them changed. Overall, the room was comfortable and the location was great, but the parking hassles, misleading amenities, and cleanliness issues made it not worth the price. I probably wouldn’t stay here again.

The parking situation is terrible. I spend good money to stay in a nice place and I shouldn’t have to walk three blocks because they don’t have parking and I had to pay extra money for a parking garage. Not only that but the room they put me in had no power twice l had to go downstairs to the front desk and complain. It was ridiculous I will never stay there again!!!!!

This place was absolutely terrible. The place is not only not out of date, but it is dirty. The staff were completely overwhelmed, and there were not enough towels for our family of four staying in a suite made for five people. When we asked for blankets they said they didn’t have any of those or any extra pillows even though we had a pull out couch for a bed. I had to go out and purchase linens for our stay. And our door didn’t open with the keys given to us, and was left open when we got there so we just kept our valuables with us when we left. After one night there, I started to have hives and bumps all over my body and I assumed it was something I ate. But after returning home, I went to the doctor and they said I contracted bedbugs. Absolutely horrifying for a place where I’m spending over $250 a night to stay. I wouldn’t wish this hotel on anyone’s worst enemy.

Won’t stay here again

First problem was that Staybridge suites entrance was closed so all Staybridge suites guests had to go through the Crown Plaza entrance to get checked in that made for a very, very long wait times I had to attempt to check in twice because our room was not ready. Once we finally get settled into the room, the kitchen sink starts leaking all over the kitchen floor. After using all the towels to clean up the mess I had to call housekeeping and wait on hold for 45 minutes just to get a hold of someone to bring us more towels and then they only bring us two sets of towels when we have three people staying there so I had to wait for them to come back and bring more. An hour after that Maintenance comes take a look at the kitchen sink which now had broken into pieces and tells me I’m probably gonna have to switch rooms. So we start packing up our things then two maintenance men come back and work on fixing the sink for about 45 minutes Which made it so we missed our dinner reservation. after unpacking all of our stuff again because we were no longer switching rooms I checked the sofa bed to get it prepped for my daughter to sleep on and there were no sheet. After attempting to get a hold of somebody for an hour and a half. I finally had to go downstairs wait in the long line just to get somebody to send up sheets for the bed as well as blankets and pillows. There was zero bedding for the pullout bed. I go to finally take a shower and the conditioner container on the wall is empty.

Yay and Nay!

I believe the hotel was very understaffed and was doing everything they could to help their guests inspire of the many complaints by other patrons. At check in, my room was not available. However the manager Nicole was amazing considering the circumstances. She managed to find my room after an hour wait. I was pleased compared to other customers having to wait 4-5 hours for their room. Not enough towels for our family of 5 but we managed ok. I feel sorry for the staff with the amount of people complaining. I want to give a shout out to Chris the valet for taking great care of my car and he went above and beyond to unload and load my car. With a sick child, he went out of his way to find me an antacid. Also, cudos to the police officer who checked the camera footage for my missing Dunkin’ Donuts order. Overall they all managed to do their best!

Very old and very dirty

Very dirty room, dust an inch thick, ice maker broken in freezer, holes in the walls, toilet paper stuffed in a hole in the bathroom. Their versuon of clean is far from clean. The t.v.was going out, and it only recieved 5 channels.

The hotel gave me a different room than the one I booked due to "overbooking". The room had no TV. Carpet was dirty, and heating was not working properly. The hotel is understaffed and there's barely anyone there to help. I will never go there again, and neither should you.

My colleagues and I stayed due to winter weather and needing to stay close to the hospital. The hotel looked very nice. The problem was the indoor temperature. The room never got warmer than 52 degrees despite the thermostat being turned as high as it would go. There was also no coffee and incomplete breakfast buffet the following morning. I attributed that to low staff due to road conditions. The front desk staff and the woman working alone at the bar were both very friendly and trying their best to serve everyone.

Checking in was unnecessarily difficult. The hotel overcharged us, so checking out was also difficult. The rooms were the largest hotel rooms I’ve ever seen. However, they were poorly stocked. My bathroom had 1/10 of a roll of toilet paper in it with no new toilet paper rolls anywhere. Not the hotels fault, but police sirens were going off constantly and made it very hard to sleep. I was attending a conference on the joint property, and it’s like they had never done a conference before. The women’s restroom was constantly out of soap and paper towels. The water for washing your hands was ice cold. They set up one table of drinks for over 300 people & did not keep it well stocked. Thus, you wait in line for 15 minutes just to find they were out of the items you wanted. In the breakout sessions, they did not set up enough chairs. Essentially, there was just a minor inconvenience that you were constantly dealing with.

No security! Do not stay here!!!

First our room a/c didn’t work and was very warm, they change our room then our car got broken in at the valet services apparently is an on going situation here they have no security for the car lot… they compromised the scene cleaning and moving the cars so police were not able to help further… in top of that police took 2+ hours to get here.

I paid for a double queen suite with sofa bed. The room did not have heat and it was dirty. I ended up in a regular room with two small beds at nearly 2 am in the morning. An employee screamed at my family and other guest over getting breakfast when we had already paid for it. She treated us like thieves over a terrible meal. We all were in a cramped room that and nobody offered to compensate us in anyway. I didn’t get the right room, I got humiliated. It ruined my birthday and I spent all this money to stay with them.

False Advertising!!!

So, I often come to Midtown to hangout with friends and enjoy the city life Atlanta has to offer. I usually stay elsewhere but it was way booked (as expected) for the holiday weekend. I found the closest to me when I was here which happened to be Crowne Plaza/Staybridge Suites. From the moment we arrived the trip has not been any type of satisfaction for lodging. The hotel is overbooked but still being listed google as available. I booked a King Suite with a Pull Out Sleeper Couch and a kitchen. I was not ever informed that I was going to be put in a different room from which I booked which happened to be a full size bedded standard room. I immediately called the front desk twice and went down after they didn’t answer. To no surprise, no one was at the front desk. Returned upstairs defeated and just went to bed because I had just gotten off the road and it was around midnight. #sleepyAF. By morning, I requested late checkout because I just knew I’d need more sleep. I went down and didn’t even bother to mention the wrong room but did ask for late checkout. Returned to my room to sleep and was awoken an hour later by a hotel employee and a housekeeper. I told her I asked for late checkout and she asks “does the front desk know that?” Umm… of course! She doesn’t know because there’s obviously no communication across any channels here. Employee to employee. Employee to consumer. Nothing is communicated or operated well here.
