The Colonial Inn is nestled in the Village Green in Smithville NJ. Our room was part of the Village Green. In this quaint little village are shops galore as well as restaurants and taverns. It is a beautiful place that is very clean and family friendly. Every staff member we encountered was polite and efficient. We will be returning for future visits.

Everything was very good and clean. My only complaint is one of the chairs had bad cushioning. When we sat in it we just sunk and it hurt my back. Either they need a new chair or the cushion needs to be replaced. The bed could have been more comfortable. Other than that, I had no complaints. It was a lovely stay.

We stayed in the "Barn", which was not in the Inn, but closeby. Room was clean, place was quiet(well, it WAS winter:). Nearby restaurant Smithville Inn was within walking distance and had excellent food. Fun bar within walking as well and great stores. Very sweet personnel at front desk and check in/check out was easy.
