Asked for a full ocean view for the kids but got mostly city with a little ferris wheel ocean view. The first room also had a terrible smoke smell had to go down and make the kids wait till we got another room. Even after requesting an ocean view we were given the same time as the first room. I’ve been here a couple times and this was my least favourite time

The room was beautiful and very comfortable the employees were all friendly and helpful. I was only disappointed on pricing at the spa seemed a little over the top and buying the expensive services only allowed access to the other spa for 2hrs not the day. I also could not extend check out but understood they were busy.

I checked in & upon arrival to my room. I noticed blood on the pillow case. I call the front deck and they told me that they will being up a new pillow case. Completely unacceptable, so I promptly went back down stairs to the front deck. I ask the receptionist to move me & my wife to another room because changing the pillowcase was just not acceptable. He told me that they are completely booked. I then asked for a manager. The manager came and said that they could send someone up to clean the room. Again, not acceptable. I told the manager that it is my wife’s birthday and we have dinner reservations in 2hrs. they have $100 cancellation fee and waiting for a room that should have already been cleaned is not acceptable. Then she asked me to wait while she checks something. She came back in less than five minutes and told me that she had some good news . she would move us to another room and would also give us a $75 credit for the inconvenience. This was only after I stood my ground on not accepting the previous room in the condition it was in. body fluids like blood and etc, can carry disease. I’m sure if it was on the pillow , it could have been on other parts of the bed or room as well. Overall I’m not happy with my first experience going to this hotel. I’ve never had anything like this happen to me before. I’m honestly not sure if I would return. Not a good start to my wife’s birthday plans..

Room was spacious and clean. The hotel was busy but it was quiet in the room. Lots of food and bar options in the hotel. Only negative when I was leaving I was charged $15 dollars even though I had the signature reward card.

The property is beautiful and I was very satisfied with the room and available amenities. The check in wait was long but the associate Mykah made the check in process so easy. She was wonderful at her job. The only issue I had was with requesting late check out. I called the operator at 5 am to request late check out. I was told I have to call at 8 am to make that request. I called at 8.30 am and I was told the report generates at 9 am to call then. What a joke if someone wants late check out they want to relax and sleep in and not keep calling to make this request. I have stayed at numerous hotels and I have never heard of this procedure. Lastly when I called at 10 am ...no one answered. I highly recommend the leadership to change this process - it's totally nuisance.
