I have stayed many times at Ocean. I always enjoyed the stay. This time I was upset when checking in I asked John, the man at the counter if my reservation for an ocean view suite is available. He told me that the room is available and just being cleaned. I asked him 2 times and he told me the same thing. We waited 2 hours for the email that he told me I would receive when the room was ready. I finally went back up to the counter to ask if the room was ready. At that point I was told that the Ocean Suite was not available. I didn’t appreciate being told that it was and in the end really wasn’t. We did stay in a bay view suite which was fine but I didn’t like being lied to.

The Ocean is one of the nicest hotels in Atlantic City. All of the rooms I’ve stayed in are clean, comfortable and well maintained. They have great views of the ocean and city. The staff are helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel for a getaway or a longer stay.
