It's definitely just a place to lay your head at night if nothing else is available. First and final red flag for me was that I was able to check into my two rooms WITHOUT showing any ID. My room numbers were then read aloud for everyone to hear. Safety does not exist here. Their security sits in the corner on a couch with sunglasses on and feet up. They were vacuuming the hallways at 7:30am on a Sunday -- doors are not soundproof. I think this is enough for a review.

The room was riddled with roaches, the shower curtain was filthy and had not been replaced in a very long time. All of the bathroom fixtures were loose, the toilet wasn’t attached to the toilet. Asked for towels and the front desk gave us a trash bag and said we had to turn in the old towels versus coming to get the towels themselves. Asked to be moved but there were no rooms available for a family of 4. The manager tried to accommodate us as best as possible but the experience was a nightmare. Oh yeah, the room next door had weed smokers and yes it permeated through the walls.

The room was large and not horrible but the condition needed renovations especially in the bathroom. Drywall above shower looked moldy as well as tile. Vanity handles rusted over. These hotels near Auburn get booked even if the owners don’t put in the effort so it seems they don’t.

My mother passed away and one person in the group had emergency back surgery so we decided to cancel the trip. I could not actually get anyone at Expedia on the phone or email (I believe this is by design). I was trying to cancel or get a credit for next year as this is generally a yearly trip. This has been one of the most expensive lessons I will learn. Expedia is an absolute racket and you should be ashamed of your business practices. I will never use this “service” again for any of my travels.

The bed sheets felt clean and soft. The room appeared clean yet in need of some cosmetic updates and deep cleaning around the bathroom. Overall we were content to have a comfortable and clean bed and safe place to sleep after a long drive.
