GOT YOUR MONEY BUT NO SERVICE NOR HELP ! Having checked in Auckland Rose Park Hotel at 4pm on 17/5/2025 (Saturday), we asked the young lady receptionist, Lena, for directions on where to push the trolley from our handicapped car park at Tudor Block where the hotel reception was. The entry we were trying to get into had a low door span, and the hotel trolley was to tall. Unfortunately, Lena lack customer relation ability and appeared very inexperienced and not-interested. apart from sitting comfortably at her chair at the reception only. We asked her,” You must be very new to this job.” She answered No, I have been working here for 2 years. Say no more, on her failing ability. It's commonly know that any staff working in the hospitality industry would already have been trained to know how to interact with customers and be hospitable, such as offering help where needed. Refusing to help and just sitting there is definitely unacceptable behaviour. I met the hotel manager the very next morning and I told him that I have been staying at Auckland Rose Hotel for a few times last year. I told him that I’m going to write a review on Trip Advisor, Hotels.com and Google. Apart from the bad experience we encountered upon check in, we have noticed that the floor above us got consistent loud banging noise. Early morning appearing to be a tradesman working. Our room was 209 and upstairs was their kitchen and restaurant. We suspected that this loud hanging noise was coming fro

Always enjoy our stay here. The room we got this time had a rather hard bed so not a good rest. Unusual so next time well make sure there is a topper pad, otherwise a great place to stay.

Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Clean room, nice garden park across the street. Good, on site, no fee parking. The included breakfast buffet is first rate. Also, the hotel restaurant was quite good--we dined there two nights. Active people can walk to downtown and ferries . . . a bit more than mile or take a direct bus instead of looking for expensive downtown parking. We would stay again.

Always a great stay here. Location is fabulous opposite the gardens. Easy parking and public transport bus stop directly outside. Breakfast buffet is also excellent.

I really enjoyed my stay at Auckland Rose Park Hotel. Located in a quiet and nice area not far from Auckland Central. My friend and I walked 30 minutes from the hotel to the Ferry Building, and 30 mins from Auckland Museum to the hotel. We stayed 2 nights in a ground floor room. Beds were comfortable, and bathroom was clean and notoriously renewed. In general, the room was cozy and clean. We liked this hotel so much that, days later, we stayed there one more night. This time, we book a room with garden view. It was the same cozy and clean room but on the other side of the building. We could watch the sunrise over the beautiful rose garden. Breakfast was buffet style and was delicious!
