Service was great. Check-in was incredibly friendly. For example: - We did a pre-check-in and left our bags. They took them up to the room for us! -Valet was really convenient. - They could provide a scrubber for dishes but other than that everything was great. - would highly recommend for a stay in Auckland.

The staff were really courteous but didn't really deliver. I requested for a room with singles be made into a double bed, but it didn't happen. One of the kitchen areas has a terrible smell coming from the drains when we got back late one night and we were given room spray and basically gas lit that there was a smell. And an item was left behind and the staff said they would check and call us back but I never heard from them.

This hotel is ideal for several reasons! Check in was very courteous and convenient. Property was exceptionally clean quiet, had all the amenities required without having to always question what next. Bed was comfy, bathroom and shower large and great kitchen facilities. Having the washer and dryer major bonus. Huge advantage was the location.. wow… close to harbour and ViaDuct with choice of restaurants, fabulous shopping. Grocery store and pharmacy all within a minute away . I would highly recommend hands down staying at the Adina City Life hotel!

Housekeeping! Had the same issue at the Wellington Adina. Checked out rooms are done first so guests who are still staying there have to wait. 4pm Housekeeping finally knocked on the door to do our room. By this time we had been out all day and were back and didn't want to have cleaners in the room. Too late! Put more staff on so guests who are staying get the same service as those who have already checked out. Ridiculous!

I stayed here for about 2 weeks. It was a great base camp to start NZ exploration. I took a lot of bus trips and boat trips from here. I also went to an art museum. Great location. The rooms were very clean and spacious. And the staff was very friendly. I would stay again.
