Lovely property and staff, with lots of convenient amenities, however we found the staff in the pool area to be quite rude, advising us that children weren’t allowed in the pool until 8.30am. It would be helpful that this information is clearly stated somewhere or at reception upon check in. Also found it difficult to find room service menus in the room or a compendium with key info in the room or on the website

My stay at the cordis hotel was 10/10!! The bed was out of this world comfortable. Fell asleep instantly and almost always woke up late 😅 the service was very friendly and happy to help. Very clean and safe. Was able to walk to the CBD easily, with options to commute via taxi, uber, and bus/shuttle.

We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others. We wouldn't recommend the 'Our Land' cocktail bar. Marketed as a cocktail bar but very much a sports bar and didnt feel like you were in the Cordis. Valet parking is convenient but a needs some work when it come to collecting your car, knowing from previous visits it can take 30mins for your car to arrive we called down before we checked out to have our car brought up - it was over an hour and a half before our car arrived which is a lot of waiting around in the lobby. Next time we might order our car then have breakfast.

Parking is a little expensive. Beds were small doubles and not very comfortable. This facility is great for kids. The buffet breakfast is next level and 8 restaurant is brilliant. We spent 4 nights here to treat the kids and they loved every minute. The staff made the children feel very welcome, the entire place is kid friendly. Love the sauna and steam room! Location is handy to the city and public transport.

Stayed on a Labour day weekend so there were lots of people. The pool was packed but everything else was great. Staff had a surprise cake and balloons when we entered the room for my partner’s birthday, which was really nice.
