Fernz Motel & Apartments is a good option for a one-night stay. The room was spacious with a nice balcony and overall fairly clean. Free parking is a plus. On the downside, the bathroom and toilet were quite small, the shower had low water pressure, and the bed was hard with no headboard and cheap, uncomfortable pillows. Comfortable enough for a short stay, but with a few compromises.

Is this the north shores best kept secret? My only problem with giving five stars is that everyone else will want to stay here! We will certainly stay again when based on the shore, and what a view - stunning.

Modern, clean, spacious apartments just a minutes walk to Birkenhead shops and restaurants. Secure parking with lift made access easy. We felt safe and were looked after very well by hosts Jan and Ayliese. Perfect location without the business of the city! Easy check process including after hours check in.
