Pleasant staff, great location. Sadly the onsite function centre runs through to late hours and with no noise restrictions this prevents a good night’s sleep. 2 nights here and noise was an issue for entire stay. Rooms are run down. Ideal for a stop in sleep stop overnight in and out. Sadly won’t be returning

The dishes were dirty and kettle had rust and mold on inner coil. One cup had lip prints on it. No hot water for morning showers. Informed front desk on checkout and was given coffee voucher. Definitely not up to Holiday Inn standard.

The staff is the only positive experience. The hotel building is quite old and needs improvement. The hallway carpet is old and stained. The food was acceptable until we saw cockroach at the coffee area.

The bed was comfortable, sunk down slightly, pillows fantastic. Food expensive but taste good. No microwave in room so can't reheat food. Chipped bath and black around drain hole was disappointing, so due to infection control I couldn't take a bath. Pool is outside and didn't want to swim as its like a fishbowl, where everyone can see you. Loved the toiletries.

The property is very closely located to Auckland airport and you can easily jump on highway to get to CBD or go down south. There is ample free parking which is a bonus as most places either don't have parking and if they do is very expensive. The Staff were exceptional from moment we checked in till we checked out- very friendly and accommodating. The overall rooms and some parts of the hotel seem little old/ run down due to age but from the convivence, exceptional staff and overall charges- I would highly recommend this place and will def stay again.
