The shower leaks. We had to use two towels at the door to keep water out of entry and bath sink area. When the toilet flushed, at the end of its refilling cycle there is a loud thumping sound in the wall. Otherwise we were comfortable in the room for the five days we were there. Found location very convenient for all kinds of shopping.

Terrible bathroom

Decent hotel but with the worst designed bathroom ever. There is NO privacy. The location is great, but the bathroom puts me off staying there again.. Unless I'm on my own

The rooms are very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was excellent, gluten free options available. Parking is a little confusing - there is a garage attached to the building that is a flat fee but there are variables to whether you are charged more. Parking was $60NZ, we arrived at 12pm and left at 10am Monday morning.

The staff was very accommodating, friendly and they went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, comfortable and valued. The breakfast food was delicious, plenty and diverse. All in one we had excellent service and will definitely stay here again. The location of this hotel is fantastic. You can walk mostly everywhere. It’s also in very close proximity to the bus station, ferry station and the shops. Thank you Holiday Inn Staff for a great stay!
