I enjoyed a lovely stay at Horizon while in Auckland for business for one night. I was very pleased that the hotel facilitated an early check-in for me, as I had a 1pm meeting and would not have been available to come back for check-in until late in the evening. My room was very nice - spacious and modern. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom was a good size. One very minor issue was that the room was a toasty 22 degrees when I first checked in (while outside was a balmy 25 degree Auckland day) and it took the air con a long time to kick in and cool the room down.

We were booked into a city view room (which looked straight into the building next door!). The lights in the bathroom came on and went off all during the night (clearly a fault which we reported), but very annoying for our 1 night stay. Hopefully, this won't happen to anyone else
