Good for tired backpacker. Otherwise avoid.
If you are a backpacker, you will find this hotel luxurious. I stopped backpacking 30 years ago. So this hotel is poor and one night is enough. Neither the air conditioning nor the tv work (check the remote batteries) The bathroom/toilet is one small cubical.

Our room was absolutely disgusting it smelt of urine so bad. If we had another option to stay at we would have, glad it was only for one night. The smell of the room smelt like someone had peed all in the carpet, it was terrible!

You overpay what you get for this accommodation. It’s a basic bed with a terrible bathroom with hardly no facilities in the room. The cleanliness was really bad. The only reason to stay here is if there are no alternatives. The location is good - near Britomart and within walking distance to the shops and water front. You can’t stand out on the balcony. There was also some sort of loose advertisement sign on the outside of the building that flapped against the wall all day and night.

Never going back to this hotel
Room was small as advertised. Not that clean for the room but bed was clean. Toilet was really small. Streets are very noisy at night. This was the 1st night. 2nd night we were transferred to another room with no ac. I don’t get it why when we paid for the same rate with a room with ac and a room w/o one. The hotel was under manned. The front desk "brian" was very helpful but he can only do so much. I give him 5 stars. Do not stay in this hotel.

Tv didn’t work. No shelf in shower to put your products. Shower drenches the whole bathroom floor. Wifi isnt unlimited. Its ok for a night and if your not going to be in your room much

I stay here on a regular basis and find the service fantastic. The young men and woman on the front desk treat you as well as any high class hotel. If you just want a bed for the night then this is the place to stay. Great value Thanks team.

The lane that the parking is on was not SIGNED. so going there was a guess. Making it a bit stressful for someone out of town. Also with the over night parking, it wasnt clearly stated, DO NOT PARK IN RESERVED PARKS OR THE 4 HOUR PARKING, Choose a park that has no sign. Property was close to queen street, staff were polite. Tidy. Not fancy, warm,safe, clean, dry.
