Cheap place for Downtown Auckland

Place was undergoing renovation. Staff not friendly. More interested in looking on their phones. No cafe or able to get food. Place was noisy. Bedrooms and sheets were not clean. Place is dated. Needs a paint. Bathrooms were mouldy and not clean. Everything else is well below par. Place is located next to the Mormon church. If you want a cheap place for a night in downtown Auckland fine, but that is about all it is.

A perfect place for a quick visit to Auckland if you want to save money! I’ve used Kiwi International twice now for raves. I’ve had no issues😀. I recommend Kiwi International for those quick visits and want to stick to a budget.

Great location, very old hotel. Our room pretty dark and dingy, and a bit musty smelling on arrival, Not sure what other rooms are like, but definitely felt more like a hostel than a hotel. Did the job of horizontal sleep support and was clean. Power cut to our room(others appeared to have power) in the evening and no-one on the front desk to assist wasn't ideal.

Whole place could do with a facelift. Swearing in corridors heard clearly inside the room. Concern becoz we had 3 children. Hair dryer didnt work. Unexpected booking fee deducted, although returned on departure. I don't understand why guests have to pay extra for overnight parking.
