I arrived early after a long flight, and since the room I booked wasn’t ready was offered another room so I could rest. They were so accommodating, and the room is great. It’s spotlessly clean, has a great view of the harbor, and is well laid out.

This hotel is in such a great location. It’s close to restaurants (harbour eats, viaduct harbour, Starbucks, McDonald’s, short walk to ferries and shopping (queen street). The bed and pillows are very comfortable. The downside is you only have a small drawer for your clothes. The other small drawer contains the safe. There is a closet that contains the iron and ironing board. I’d rather have shelves in that closet and just request the iron if needed. The water temperature in the shower can change abruptly (it could be other rooms using the water or the washing machines on the 4th floor, where my room was) especially when someone uses the sink in the bathroom. There was a small carton of milk in our fridge for 2 days — but you can request from the front desk. I had the breakfast ($35 without the hot food, $45 with the hot food) and I loved the fruit selections — orange, mandarin, green apple, red apple, kiwi, watermelon, cantaloupe, pineapple. You can share the big classic breakfast ($35) which I think is good for 2 people. I highly recommend this hotel. Again I love the location. The service is excellent.

M Social is a true hidden gem located in an ideal position: across the street from the ferry terminal, next to Viaduct Harbour district which has no shortage of amazing restaurants and only a few meters from the heart of the CBD. The hotel itself is nothing short of perfect! Even at five star hotels it’s hard to have it all but at M Social, you can indeed have it all: luxury, amazing rooms, comfortable beds, EXCEPTIONAL staff, central location, amazing views and generous benefits! Many hotels talk a good game but when it comes down to it, often fail. This is not the case with M Social. I cannot remember a single time a staff member didn’t greet me when I came in from a long day or simply was passing by to go to breakfast! I am unsure friendly is even the word for the staff, it goes deeper than friendly. It was as if I was an old friend, a family member, etc. If you requested anything no matter how small or big, they would nearly trip over themselves trying to help. Everything was exceptional at M Social! I think in my opinion, the most exceptional part besides the staff was my bed. I have been to 77 nations and slept in millions of hotel beds: some are good, and others feel like sleeping on an iron slab! The bed in my room was so comfortable I dreaded having to wake up. Often if there is a problem, I notice some hotel managers blow it off and try to deflect the blame back on you. Luckily, this was not the case here. When I had a minor problem at check in, the manage
