No dressers. limited privacy. no water. bad coffee.
We enjoyed our stay. Dining options are great here - we used the main restaurant, the rooftop bar and the inroom dining service - all were great.
There are many great shops and dining options within easy walking distance.
There is an attention to detail with the decor here. It may not be to everyone's taste , but we appreciated it.
Only one thing to note, the room doors are not soundproofed at all, so that may be important to some people.

Checking in was a breeze, and the room itself was comfortable and well-appointed. However, a few quirks prevented the stay from being truly seamless.
The shower was partially broken, functioning only halfway, which made for an inconvenient experience. Light switches throughout the room were confusing to operate, with the entry switches held together with Blu Tack—an unexpected DIY touch that unfortunately led to them falling off.
On a more positive note, the hotel provided a complimentary bottle of wine, though its quality was only average. While these details didn’t ruin the stay, they did detract from what could have been a smoother and more polished experience.
With a bit of maintenance and attention to detail, this hotel has the potential to be a great place to stay.
Room which was on "offer" thru Wotif was on ground floor without window to outside. Room quite dark with poor lighting. Convenient to harbour dining area but would not stay there again.
Modern and clean with very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were a good size and connecting 402/403 corner rooms were good for family with teens.
We were able to eat at the QT rooftop bar/lounge with our teens on Sunday evening and it was good. But on weekend evenings this is R18 which would have been disappointing.
Decor is modern and a bit eclectic, albeit a little “dark” for our taste. Our rooms faced the main road and we found it noisy at times.
The bathrooms are a bit weird, with 2 sliders that open it up to the room. This also eliminates
We had to drive around for half an hour to get a park but the receptionist made everything better when she gave us drink vouchers.
However, the manager at the rooftop bar rudely denied our use of the vouchers. Only after we had consumed the drinks were we informed by the manager that we could only use them for house drinks. She was quick to point finger at the receptionist as well as her other staff for the fault and was adamant that since the voucher rules were told to us before we paid (rather than before we sat down, ordered, and consumed) that we were to pay. We argued how unfair this was and she later let us use the vouchers.
Not a good first impression of QT.
Roof top small dishes very good; excellent pizza at lunch but given an expensive bowl of packet Granola at breakfast with about a desert spoon of yoghurt and honey. Can only presume the chef thought I was a horse!
Great stay at the QT. Right next to the viaduct and all the great waterfront dining. Fun and funky hotel. Never made it to the bar but heard great things about it.
