There was a planned power outage. They only informed me of this at check in. I would have expected a discount at least. Fundamental to tell a guest before they arrive there will be no power!

The room was ok, however I was not informed until my arrival that on the second nights stay there would be no power from 10pm to 6am, so I checked out after one night and have not yet received a refund for the second night. so not a good experience this time however I have stayed multiple times in the past and enjoyed a great room with good service. this has been an unfortunate one off that meant a flight change and early trip home for me.

Staff and cleaners were lovely. My only wish would be a fan in the bathroom to help when having a hot shower or using toilet. But a very clean and easy accessible hotel.

I booked a 4 night stay in November and actually did not end up staying at the hotel because the cleanliness and smell was not appealing to me. My room was also very hot and the air conditioner was not controllable from the room. I was in my room for 5 minutes and decided to leave to another hotel. I am not a poicky person but this hotel was far below expectations, especially on Ponsoby Road. To further expand the issue, the management of the company did not return my money as I had prepaid for my visit, but they decided the right thing to do for there business was to keep my money instead of treating a dissatisfied customer fairly. They kept all of the money for my 4 night stay and will not return it. I would not stay here. Many other great options in Auckland for similar price.
