There needs to be better cleaning done. As you walk in you can see so many finger marks from opening and closing and a single swipe done with a cloth over the top. There are many marks from wear and tear but many would come up if cleaned. The table outside was dirty and at the sliding door on the wall there are many marks of multiple different liquids on the walls. I hate to be so picky but when you pay so much money you would expect not to see visible dirt marks.

I booked 2 rooms for our stay, 1 for 2 people and 1 for 3 people (family of 5 adults). The air-conditioning in the smaller room wasn't working so we had to change rooms immediately. The larger room was supposed to have a sofa bed. When we walked in not only wasn't it made up, after closer inspection, it wasn't even a sofa bed. Went down to reception and was told it wasn't made up as I didn't request the bed to be made when booking. I don't know to many adults that would fit in a queen size bed so didn't think it was necessary to stipulate that. They ended up putting a rollaway in the room. Aircon wasn't the best and in the apartment it was in the main lounge room so sleeping at night in the bedroom was very warm as the windows of the hotel couldn't be opened at all. The rooms are stated to be soundproofed but this is definitely not the case as the people in the room upstairs were so loud walking and dropping things on the floor into the early hours of the morning, that sleeping on the last night there wasn't possible. Bathroom had a washing machine and dryer but not much bench space for 3 toiletry bags etc. For a relatively new hotel, the facilities were nice and new so it was surprising the aircon was already not functioning properly and the design could've been improved a bit more. Overall, I wouldn't stay here again however the staff were very friendly and helpful.

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay here. The room was a great size and nice and clean. We appreciated that the toiletries, tea and coffee were nz made products. Free coffee machine downstairs too. Thank you Hotel Ramada!

We stayed 10 days here for the Global Youth 7s Rugby Tournament. The gym is not onsite and you have to pay a fee to access it. The pool is also not on site and requires another fee to access. For the price we paid for the room I was disappointed that there was another fee to access these amenities. It is walkable to the train station and the Mall which has a grocery store and pharmacy. The breakfast is pricey so we opted to get groceries at the Woolworths and make our own. We felt safe walking in the area. Overall the hotel was clean. There were certain areas in the room we felt could have been cleaned better. We could see the wipe marks on the cupboards and there were dust bunnies in the bathroom upon checkin. At the end of the day the room is what we needed for the time we spent in Auckland. We would stay again. The staff was lovely to deal with. They lent us an umbrella for a few days it was rainy.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Ramada. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and it felt so homey every time we arrived back in the lobby. It is central to EVERYTHING and still remains quiet and cozy. Highly recommend!
