This property is near major transport links - motorways and bus routes the Albany Sports stadium and Westfield Shopping Centre Albany.
The apartment was a 1-bed unit but the smallest I have ever encountered. The bedroom was just bigger than the King bed in it, the Kitchen had just the appliances and the 'living' area had room only for a 2-seater couch, coffee table and card-table sized dining table. The hose to the shower head leaked and water pressure was very low.
A very clean hotel with nice modern studio rooms that feature a comfortable double bed and plenty of room. The room was well lit and easy to move around.
A good location with the Northern Motorway close by albeit a very urbanized setting. Some Asian food outlets are next to the hotel.
All of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I paid NZ$160/night which was a little on the high side.
All in all, a very comfortable stay.
We caught the bus from Auckland CBD to Albany Station. Very quick. 5 minute walk to hotel, just follow the partially covered walkway. Nice Unit with Basic cooking and other Mod cons. It is 15 minutes walk to Westfield Albany. Great Shopping. We had a great time here. We have booked to come back.
The Ramada is a fairly new hotel. It is nice and clean, with all the facilites which one needs for a comfortabe stay , kitchnet, washingmachien/ drier etc. For me it is a little sterile !
Apartment was a very pleasant placecto stay for 2 nights.
Did not make any meals in the room.big negative.
Tekevision randomly came on at full volume. Y itself.
When it came on at 2 57bam I didnt get babk to sleep.
The staff here are friendly, polite and service orientated. The apartment was large and ver clean. There are excellent Dining choices close by and a great shopping centre and restaurants 15 minutes walk away. A great three day beak for us.
