I booked this property purely because there was a bar cafe restaurant so I would not have to leave to find food etc. Once I booked in and arrived at the property. I asked what time the bar is open till for Coffee etc. And then I was informed that no bar is open yet nor restaurant nor any room service available as they had not finished setting up their hotel yet and I was forced to have to go to a supermarket. Another problem was I had just hopped out of the shower and I was laying on the bed and my underwear when the door opened and a staff member stayed there looking at me. They didn’t said sorry turned around and walked out. No explanation nothing even after I complained to the front desk I heard nothing further.

Great hotel, lovely staff. It’s very new so it looked like no one had been in my room before me! Lovely facilities a small indoor pool, spa, sauna, gym etc. Very close to Albany shops and Massey university. Great value and they have one or two room options.

This is a brand new property and aside from a couple of teething issues (wifi password not working, cabinet door not closing etc) it was a great stay. The rooms are quite small but ok for a short stay.

The room I stayed in still had mud on the bathroom walls that was from the tradies boots. This is obviously a new place but it’s a tad concerning that this was overlooked - what else wasn’t cleaned between tradies finishing and guests staying? Emailed the hotel to give them a heads up so they could ensure it’s addressed and ensure no other rooms have the same issue. No response. If I stay again I would be thoroughly checking the room. I’d expect this from a hotel that’s been open for a few years but for such a new hotel this is concerning to see.

Only a month since opening so everything was great. Spacious rooms that are well equipped if you want to cater for yourself. Handy to motorway and Westfield Albany shopping centre. Doesn’t provide breakfast and couldn’t find cafes within walking distance early in the morning. Hotel gym also doesn’t open until 7am. Otherwise great stay and well priced
