VR Auckland City is in a good location, but didn't give guaranteed parking. Staff was vey helpful and polite. The kitchen s very convenient to have, but not adequately stocked, no sharp knife, the lid on the one pot was too small and no large spoons, spatulas etc. Although the room was spacious, it was very tired, cracks in the floor tile and sink, grout needs replacing. Even with the negatives, the room was still good value for the money,

The stay was great, but parking was a major issue, with a party of 4 adults and 1 child finding transport was an issue for out of towners , one really great thing we found was a taxi company who dealt with a large group using a van excellent attitude

A tv would have been amazing..also a knife to cut thg..hard cutting things with a nutter knife.room Was nice..toilet seat was loose….the extra shower gel and shampoo was nice however the ones in the shower was empty..a refill before check in would have been nice and dishwasher was not emptied prior to check on
